Individuals seeking volunteer or community service hours are welcome. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please call us for details regarding Community Service. Volunteers can show up during buisness hours without calling ahead!

​​​​We are an open intake facility for the City Of Leitchfield. At this time we are only accepting strays due to space. Stray Animals will be adopted out after their hold time is up.

We are contracted with Grayson County, KY to receive stray dogs, please contact the county animal control 270-287-1132. We cannot accept Grayson County Dogs without approval from Grayson County Animal Control listed above. Our jurisdiction is the City Of Leitchfield ONLY. 

$10 nail trims. $25 Barn/Farm Cats. $25 microchips & various retail items for sale. We do have merchandise that can only be purchased at out facility!

After Hours

For an after hours emergency involving a stray animal, meaning an injured or aggressive animal, please call Grayson County Dispatch at

270-259-0303. They will contact the

On-Call Animal Control Officer.

To report a stray animal in the City Of Leitchfield that you aren't able to transport to the shelter, please call 270-230-8839 during our business hours: Mon-Sat 10am-3pm.

For all Grayson County strays (Animals found NOT​ in Leitchfield City Limits) call County Animal Control 270-287-1132.
